I purchased one of these about 5 months ago for the guest bedroom. Guests like it so much, after they left I moved it to the master bedroom. I originally purchased a queen size (that's what I had in the guest room). The weight and feel is about perfect for me. I'm not big on the style, but I'm a typical guy and have to rely on others. The style my guests said they loved.Now after using it myself, I purchased a 2nd one king size. It fit great.I was impressed with the delivery as well. I own amazon prime, but it wasn't defaulting to 2 days from this vendor. It originally said 7-10 days. It arrived in 3 days. The vendor was quick, and ahead of their estimates. Arrived with a hand written thank you card. I thought it was a class act.I recommend this vendor and product. I hope and pray they treat others as well as they did me, if so, I'm sure they will do great.I love the generous size and color! The stitching and scalloped edges suggest a higher quality quilt found in higher priced comforters. It is a heavier weight than most King sized quilts and is larger. You cannot tell from the photos, but the "right-side" of the quilt is a brushed cotton that feels like suede! PERFECT FOR COOLER SUMMER NIGHTS AND COLD WINTER CHILLS! The reverse is all cotton and the trapunto stitching creates a beautiful pattern. The stitched pattern is classic. The color is more of a very light yellow and in a bright room, the cast is more pale-yellow than beige. You can actually turn down the top, place your pillows and cover them like a bedspread would cover. The size is very generous. I washed in cold water and dried it without any color distortion or fading in my large capacity washer at home with no problem.At first glance I was very impressed with the quality of the set, but after putting it on a king size bed with a 14 inch mattress I discovered it wasn't wide enough to cover the mattress by 3 inches on each side! I tried it on another king bed with a 6 inch mattress and it barely covered that one. If I didn't have company coming the next day I would have returned it. Be sure to measure your bed and compare with the measurements in the description. You may have to order a larger sizeVery beautiful soft and plush. It is the right weight for sleeping under so very comfortable.Well made and warm. Fits my Cal-King bed just fine.This is a very nice bedspread. Fits my queen bed perfect. No need for a skirt. extremely soft. Very happy.I like this bedspread as it is perfect for summer. I do wish the side by the headboard was not scalloped. Technically only three sides should be finished with the scalloped edging. Other than that, it is a very nice bedspread. The color is a true warm cream tone.This Matelasse, with two standard shams and two accent shams are lovely. The soft buttery yellow is exactly what I wanted. I have a very soft yellow bedroom and needed something until I have a quilt made. It's a bit warm for summer, but the material is so soft and the work is just lovely. I may leave it on year round, folding it down for sleeping. I needed it quickly when we were having last minute guests and we had just remodeled and it arrived quickly. I was very pleased.
